A quality case from a serial number

A serial number should be enough. The tracing does the rest.

How you work it in Colleag

  1. 1

Give the colleague the customer's serial number.

  2. 2

The unit is traced through manufacturing and material.

  3. 3

Sibling units sharing the same batches are listed.

  4. 4

The report draft for the customer is ready for review.

A worked example

“A customer reports a fault on the unit with serial number 240917-0042. What do we know about it?”

Build date, operations with time and signature where logged, the material batches that went in and which other units share them, gathered in a report draft.

The material

  • Tracing in the business system
  • MES where present
  • Batch and delivery history

You approve

Everything the colleague produces is a proposal with sources. Nothing is published, sent or saved to the archive without a human approving it, and every figure traces to its material.

Curious what it feels like?

We run pilot programs with a few manufacturing companies at a time. Tell us about your business and we will show what the colleagues can do with your documents and your data.
