Routings documented

Baselines and changes traceable in the archive, so the routing does not live only in the system and in heads.

How you work it in Colleag

  1. 1

Ask the colleague to document the routing baseline for the article.

  2. 2

The colleague reads the operations, the times and the instructions.

  3. 3

Review and add what the floor knows.

  4. 4

Approve; the next change is compared against the baseline.

A worked example

“Document the routing for the new article as a baseline.”

The routing as a document: operations, times, tools and instructions, versioned in the archive. When something changes the colleague shows the diff against the baseline instead of the history disappearing.

The material

  • The routing from the business system
  • Work instructions in the workspace
  • Earlier changes

You approve

Everything the colleague produces is a proposal with sources. Nothing is published, sent or saved to the archive without a human approving it, and every figure traces to its material.

We run pilot programs with a few manufacturing companies at a time. Tell us about your business and we will show what the colleagues can do with your documents and your data.
