Supply Chain

Where is the article used

When a component goes obsolete: affected products and approved alternatives, in minutes instead of detective work.

How you work it in Colleag

  1. 1

Ask: where is the article used and what replaces it?

  2. 2

The colleague reads the BOMs, the structures and the supplier links.

  3. 3

Review: affected products, stock as buffer and registered alternatives.

  4. 4

Create actions for the products lacking an alternative.

A worked example

“The component got an end-of-life date. Which products are affected?”

The products containing the article with quantity per unit, stock balance as buffer, and the registered alternatives from the supplier register. Products without an approved alternative are flagged for decision.

The material

  • BOMs and structures
  • Stock balances
  • Supplier links per article

You approve

Everything the colleague produces is a proposal with sources. Nothing is published, sent or saved to the archive without a human approving it, and every figure traces to its material.
