Quotation material

Prices, calculations and history compiled with the assumptions visible, instead of the previous quotation as a template.

How you work it in Colleag

  1. 1

Describe the deal: articles, volumes, customer.

  2. 2

The colleague reads price lists, calculations and earlier quotations on similar volumes.

  3. 3

Review the material and the assumptions.

  4. 4

Adjust, approve and send the quotation.

A worked example

“Prepare quotation material for 200 units to a new customer.”

Material with price per volume step, margin against calculated price and the comparison with earlier deals of the same size. The assumptions are stated, so you see what is fact and what is judgement.

The material

  • Price lists and calculated prices
  • Earlier quotations and orders
  • Article data from the business system

You approve

Everything the colleague produces is a proposal with sources. Nothing is published, sent or saved to the archive without a human approving it, and every figure traces to its material.
