Watching for changes
New editions of standards against your requirement register, so the change is discovered before the audit and not during it.
How you work it in Colleag
- 1
Ask the colleague to compare new editions against your requirement register.
- 2
The colleague reads the changes and puts them against your products and procedures.
- 3
Review: what concerns you, what can be ignored.
- 4
Create actions with dates from what concerns you.
A worked example
“The standard came in a new edition. What does it mean for us?”
The differences against the previous edition put against your requirement register: which requirements changed, which products and procedures are affected and by when. What does not concern you is also said, so nobody reads the whole edition unnecessarily.

The material
- The standard editions you have uploaded
- Your requirement register
- The procedures in the management system
You approve
Everything the colleague produces is a proposal with sources. Nothing is published, sent or saved to the archive without a human approving it, and every figure traces to its material.
